We went up to Ulster County on Saturday to see some good friends who have a house in a rural area. We were lucky to see some deer on our drive there.

We went to the Mets-Yankee game at Yankee Stadium on Saturday.  It was a nice day out, despite the outcome of the game.  Here are a couple shots.

Two of a Kind: My niece and I always say we are twins because we are so much a like. So here is a picture of the two of us.  My mom pressed the button, but I set up the photo.  (I wish I could blame someone else for that horrible lamp in the background.  I really need to start taking notice of my surroundings better.)

Believe it or not, this is a subway station in NYC. The MTA workers have hung a few bird feeders. They also take care of some cats that live at the station.

This week's You Capture photo challenge on I Should Be Folding Laundry is water.  Here is a photo that I took yesterday at the waterfalls next to the Bronx Zoo.  Yes, those kids are jumping off of the waterfalls into the water.  Yikes!

This week's photo challenge on In A Yellow House is nature.  I took this photo at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in Queens, NY.  I love that you can find so much nature in NYC if you know where to look for it.

I've been trying to get into better shape so I started the Couch to 5K (C25K) program tonight. It is a program that is supposed to have your running a 5K in 10 weeks.

By the way, this was taken with my I-phone, so, obviously, in auto.
